Since 2012, Anurag has worked on developing cost-effective solutions to stem post-harvest losses. His work essentially reorganizes fragmented agricultural information about commodities, vendors and stakeholders, and connects millions of producers and end-consumers from Base-of- Pyramid segments. SIGO was shortlisted for the #StartupIndia initiative launched in 2016 and featured among the Top 30 Tech Companies at #techsparks2015, Bengaluru. Anurag was a TEDx speaker at LBSIM 2017 and storytelling session at Digital India Pavilion at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi in Oct. 2016. His work on 'Agri Cluster Maps' was published in Agriculture World, and reported in regional and national media.

Anurag holds a Masters in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island, and has previously worked with global Not-for- Profits in Washington, D.C. He was a participant at the recent MIT's Global Entrepreneurship Boot Camp held at Hsinchu, Taiwan in 2017
